Sanjay Popat: Wouldn’t it be great if FDA Oncology approvals were mutually approvable by MHRA?
Sanjay Popat, Thoracic Oncologist at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, shared a post on X by AACR, adding:
“Wouldn’t it be great if FDA Oncology approvals were mutually approvable by Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency UK (MHRA)? Oh, hang on, the agreement already exists!”
Quoting AACR’s post:
“The US FDA approved a subcutaneous injection of the immunotherapy nivolumab with hyaluronidase for all previously approved indications of nivolumab to treat solid tumors.”
“FDA approves nivolumab and hyaluronidase-nvhy for subcutaneous injection”
