Sachin Jain: Dismantling Medicine’s White Wall of Silence

“In law enforcement, the “Blue Wall of Silence” refers to the unwritten code among officers that discourages reporting a colleague’s misconduct.
The message is clear: if you come for one of us, you come for all of us. It’s a powerful and dangerous loyalty.
Medicine has its own version of the Blue Wall, the White Wall. It is less visible, rarely dramatized, and seldom discussed. But it’s real—and just as harmful.
