“Startups leaders often ask me: How do you break into enterprise healthcare?
Recently, I had the chance to discuss this with M Christine (Chris) Stock and the team at Health2047.
The conversation left me reflecting on a few core truths:
- Relationships matter as much as solutions: In an industry as complex and risk-averse as healthcare, trust is currency. Many promising solutions fail not because they don’t work, but because the buyer doesn’t know—or trust—the seller.
- Talent is the ultimate differentiator: Founders often underestimate how critical it is to have the right people on the bus—not just for building the product, but for navigating the long, difficult road to adoption.
- Innovation for underserved populations is hard, but necessary: It’s easy to design for the average patient; it takes courage and creativity to design for those who need it most.
Healthcare doesn’t change quickly.
But when it does, it’s because leaders, entrepreneurs, and incumbents find common ground anchored in shared purpose and mutual trust.
