Sachin H. Jain: Bob Chapek joins SCAN to lead new initiatives
Sachin H. Jain shared the following on LinkedIn:
“We are thrilled to be bringing Bob Chapek to SCAN as we kick off this year’s long-awaited annual enrollment period.
Bob grew up at The Walt Disney Company in roles of escalating responsibility, culminating in his tenure as CEO.
He will be working with our teams on several key initiatives:
- driving innovation (and revolution) in our already industry-leading approach to member experience
- enhancing our talent management and workforce development to elevate member obsession
- assisting our growth efforts to bring the SCAN experience to even more older adults
While other plans are busy playing and trying to win the same old game—we are trying to change it altogether.

Sachin H. Jain is the President and CEO of SCAN Group and Health Plan and an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. He also serves as a Board Member at The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans, an Academic Hospitalist (WOC) at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and a Board Member at America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). He is also a board member of Omada Health.
