“I am so excited that our documentary film Blood In My Stool will premiere today at the Patient Engagement Open Forum in Baveno, Italy.
Logline: When death knocks, champions answer with faith, fury, and a refusal to surrender. Sparking powerful journeys that redefine the boundaries of hope, resilience, and health inequities.
Synopsis: Diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer, a young man’s world is shattered, but his spirit remains unbroken. Against overwhelming odds, poverty, weak health systems, and inequities, Abum and Yemisi embark on a perilous journey of surgery, chemotherapy, stigma, and self-discovery.
With each twist and turn, their resolve strengthens, inspiring those around them with their unwavering faith and unshakeable courage. Will they defy the odds and emerge victorious, or will the pains of colorectal cancer consume them?
