“Left Rural Oncology Conference 2025 feeling hopeful and inspired—together, we’re building a stronger future for rural cancer care.
There were so many important conversations around telemedicine, advocacy, workforce challenges, and innovative models to improve access and outcomes for rural patients.
Thrilled that our poster on exercise oncology sparked great interest and conversations—there’s growing recognition of the value of supportive care in rural oncology.
A big thank you to our leading physician Joanna Metzner-Sadurski, to Stephen Shenal, and to our amazing high school student volunteers for their dedication and teamwork in bringing this project to life—so proud of what we accomplished together!
I’m already looking forward to next year’s conference and more opportunities to collaborate, learn, and move this important work forward!”
