“Good morning from Day 2 of CACV Annual Meeting!
It’s inspiring to see so many clinicians, researchers, and community partners gathered to share ideas, highlight innovations, and discuss strategies to reduce the impact of cancer in Virginia. Community, Community, Community was the focus of this Cancer Action Coalition of Virginia (CACV) meeting.
We learned about ‘Food is Medicine’ from Carrie Stolzfus and enjoyed an excellent pediatric track breakout session, especially meaningful as Virginia is the first state to include pediatric cancer in its state cancer plan.
We’re looking forward to a full day of learning, meaningful conversations, and hearing from today’s featured speakers representing VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center: Dr. Patrick Nana-Sinkam and Dr. Alexander Kenigsberg, who will share the latest in cancer screening and early detection.”
