Richi House hosted a festive session for teenage and young adult leukemia survivors and their families
Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation shared on LinkedIn:
“This Sunday at the Richi House, we hosted a festive session for our cohort of teenage and young adult leukemia survivors and their families, sponsored by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It was a day filled with creativity, connection, and holiday magic!
Survivors and their families came together to create beautiful Christmas-themed arts and crafts, decorating ornaments and painting canvases. They also had a blast with a shoe tower contest, where the challenge was to build the tallest tower using only shoes—it brought out everyone’s competitive and creative sides!
We were thrilled to welcome a new member, who shared her inspiring story and helped strengthen the bonds within our community.
Adding to the fun, two playful Grinches made a special appearance, delighting everyone with thoughtful gifts and spreading holiday cheer!
It was another heartwarming session filled with joy and connection.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special thanks to our sponsor, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, for making it all possible. Happy holidays from all of us at the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation! ”
