“Review and Renew Sedona.
It’s with tears of gratitude that I made this post. Total Health Oncology ran this meeting this weekend.
Sedona is a place I experienced deep healing, and this year, I could only muster the strength for one trip – and I chose Italy for our 10th birthday. I had to miss this program, and until I saw these pictures, I was feeling discouraged.
Medical education isn’t only about learning, it’s also listening, connecting, and what I hoped for this meeting – healing. Oncologists are facing the greatest amount of burnout in history. These are the people that take care of the people we love!
I want to start this post by thanking the people that supported this intentionally small, yet mighty meeting – I hope you felt that ROI isn’t only experienced with quantity, but with the meaningful, deep connections we make with each other!
Our speakers are nationally renowned, and they prepared their talks to include a balance of evidence-based integrative strategies. This meeting really is about combining lifestyle interventions with therapeutic ones! We believe all medical training should aspire to do this – with an emphasis on healing the healer as well.
I hope you can all feel this energy and that you sign up for the next Renew and Review retreat in Napa this year! It’s a meeting that changes you from the inside out.
