“Couldn’t have been prouder of the success of the CancerX Innovation Jam recently at Advocate Health. We united a dynamic group of changemakers: the 2025 CancerX startup accelerator cohort, CancerX Champions, leaders from the Advocate Health family, including Atrium Health Levine Cancer and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center, community organizations, special guests, and most importantly—patients and families.

“This past week I had the incredible privilege of attending the CancerX Innovation Jam fueled by Advocate Health in Charlotte.
CancerX is an international ecosystem of innovators united in the fight against cancer with representatives from leading cancer centers, life sciences, venture capital, government, and patient advocates.
This amazing event convened over 150 innovators across the CancerX ecosystem for 2 days of networking, workshops, panel discussions, and the opportunity to hear pitches from the 14 startups in this year’s accelerator cohort. Congratulations to Samira Daswani and Manta Cares for winning the inaugural award for embodying “The Loved One Standard”.
