“We are still feeling the good energy from our Pediatric Innovation Day held at Cosmo Caixa in Barcelona!
We would like to express our gratitude to all the speakers who shared their expertise and insights, with a special mention to Minister of Research and Universities of Generalitat de Catalunya, Núria Montserrat, for their participation and support.
Thank you also to all the participants who joined us and enriched the event with their enthusiasm!
One of the most exciting moments of the day was the announcement of our collaboration with Impact1 at Stanford Biodesign to launch Impact4kids, a US-EU accelerator programme to foster innovation in paediatrics by connecting talent and solutions on both sides of the Atlantic. Thanks to all the Impact1 team for coming to Barcelona and sharing this special moment with us!
We enjoyed roundtables and presentations that added incredible value to our community, covering key topics such as:
- Funding and impact investment in paediatrics
- Public sector initiatives to promote knowledge transfer in paediatric healthcare
- Innovative projects linked to the i4KIDS network
And we also experienced the i4KIDS pitch competition of our Acceleration Programme! Congratulations to XTREM, led by Barbara Baro Sastre and her team from Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal), the winning project for this well-deserved recognition. And of course to all the participants for the amazing impact you’re creating!
