Paul Singh: Honoured to Join the Advisory Group of the European Cancer Community Foundation
Paul Singh, Founding Board Member of EEDN, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m honoured to join the Advisory Group of the European Cancer Community Foundation (ECCF) – a pan-European organisation created by the European Cancer Organisation, dedicated to saving lives and improving the well-being of those affected by cancer.
Based in Brussels, ECCF’s work is deeply human and urgently needed. It focuses on practical, cross-border initiatives that strengthen the systems and people who care for cancer patients.
One such initiative is the Cancer Workforce Fund which we launched in the City of London in 2024. The Fund invests in the recruitment, training and retention of the cancer workforce across Europe from nurses and clinicians to researchers and support teams.
My decision to accept this role is not just professional, it’s personal. Like way too many, I’ve seen firsthand the complexity and emotional toll of a cancer diagnosis. That experience has given me a deep respect for the people and systems that carry patients through it. I’m joining the Foundation’s work with both purpose and perspective.
As part of the Advisory Group, I look forward to supporting ECCF’s mission by helping expand its fundraising and strategic networks across Europe and beyond.
