“What a brilliant way to mark World Cancer Day! The much anticipated Intergroup on Cancer and Rare Diseases held its constitutive meeting this week in the European Parliament.
I am looking forward to contributing to the visibility and transparency of this initiative on behalf of the European Cancer Organisation, and alongside my communication colleagues from SIOP Europe and EURORDIS-Rare Diseases Europe.
This intergroup is an important milestone for European cancer policy, and we are grateful to the MEPs who took the responsibility of leading this project and bringing it to fruition.”
