Happy 2nd Birthday, OncoDaily

Dear Readers,

Two years ago, on May 14, 2023, OncoDaily published its first article, marking the beginning of a journey dedicated to transforming oncology communication and community building. What began as a bold vision to unify voices across the global oncology community blossomed into a movement — and that movement is OncoDaily. As we celebrate our second birthday, we are filled with gratitude, pride, and excitement for the road ahead. The past two years have been nothing short of extraordinary.

OncoDaily

A Global Stage for a Global Cause

In just 730 days, OncoDaily has grown into one of the most dynamic oncology communication platforms in the world. From breaking research updates to human-centered stories, our mission has always been clear: to amplify the voices of oncologists, researchers, advocates, and patients everywhere.

Some of our major highlights include:

OncoDaily x ESTRO:

Our  live international collaboration with the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) — provided real-time insights, behind-the-scenes stories, and spotlighting emerging talent. ESTRO 2025 marked a new chapter in oncology media partnerships.

The Global OncoThon 2025

Co-hosted with SIOP, our 24-hour virtual event raised awareness for childhood cancer and brought together hundreds of cancer advocates, clinicians, and survivors in a unique digital marathon that inspired, informed, and united, raising $1.3 million to support international pediatric cancer research.

OncoDaily TV

We launched our own video series featuring interviews with global oncology leaders — from Dr. Lisa DeAngelis to Dr. David Steensma — covering everything from cutting-edge science to human stories of resilience.

One of our most celebrated moments was the exclusive interview with Dr. Richard Pazdur, reflecting on his 25-year war on cancer at the FDA — a conversation that delved into his legacy, mentorship philosophy, and insights on the evolution of oncology.

OncoDaily Journal & Pulse Blogs

From long-form features to breaking stories, we’ve created space for deep reflection, science storytelling, and celebrating the often unsung heroes of oncology.

Strategic Partnerships

OncoDaily became the official media partner for leading organizations like the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) and the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA). These partnerships are expanding our reach-soon, a Chinese-language version of OncoDaily will serve doctors, researchers, and patients across China, amplifying the global fight against cancer.

Expanding Digital Frontiers

OncoDaily’s digital footprint has grown exponentially. From LinkedIn to X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, our tailored content now reaches a diverse, global audience. In 2024 alone, our YouTube subscribers soared from 200 to 47,000, and our engagement metrics on LinkedIn surpassed those of major global news outlets. We even launched dedicated X pages for Immuno-Oncology and Gastrointestinal Oncology, reflecting the depth and breadth of our coverage.

“OncoDaily Is My Baby” — The Phrase Heard Around the (Onco)World

Let’s start with what trended globally — the now-iconic phrase: “OncoDaily is my baby.” From Twitter (X) to LinkedIn, from hospital break rooms to international conference stages, this heartfelt declaration took on a life of its own. Why? Because OncoDaily isn’t just a platform — it’s a passion project, a family, and a purpose.
