Nnamdi Igwe Receives Barry Coller Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine – Mount Sinai Department of Medicine
Mount Sinai Department of Medicine shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Congratulations to Nnamdi Igwe on receiving the Barry Coller Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine.
At the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Nnamdi has led initiatives that improved care for patients with limited English proficiency and expanded screening access for women living with HIV. He has also mentored underrepresented high school students and contributed to curriculum development—demonstrating a strong commitment to education, equity, and quality improvement in health care.
This year, the award was presented in person by Barry Coller, MD—making the honor all the more meaningful.
Nnamdi will graduate with his MD and begin residency in Internal Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital. We are proud to celebrate this milestone and look forward to what comes next.”
