Nikolina Dodlek, Member Board of Directors at the European Cancer Organisation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today we officially kicked off the iNTERVENE Project online, led by Prof. Andreas Charalambous and the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and e-OncoRise Research Center for Oncology and Palliative Care.
The project aims to explore existing and future gaps in health literacy among citizens, patients, and healthcare professionals, identify enablers and barriers, and provide evidence-based recommendations for the development of Health Literacy Training, Awareness materials, and the Health Literacy Hub.
We are truly excited to embark on this journey together with our esteemed partners from across Europe with expertise and commitment essential in achieving the project’s ambitious goals.
A special thanks to our HaDEA Project Officer, who also joined today’s meeting – presence and support mean a great deal as we begin this important work.
Looking forward to impactful collaboration and meaningful outcomes that will benefit patients, healthcare professionals, and society as a whole.”
