Miguel Ángel Jiménez Ceballos: Needs Assessment in Conception – Powered by Data, Driven by Collaboration

Miguel Ángel Jiménez Ceballos, City Manager Conception at City Cancer Challenge, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Needs Assessment in Conception: Powered by Data, Driven by Collaboration.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Needs Assessment phase in our collaboration with City Cancer Challenge (C/Can), a step in transforming cancer care into a more equitable and resilient system in Conception.
At the core of this initiative is an inspiring belief: who you are and where you live shouldn’t determine your cancer survival. Through C/Can’s City Engagement Process Framework, we’re embarking on a locally-driven, globally supported journey to uncover the gaps of cancer care in our city and pave the way for sustainable, data-driven cancer care solutions.
Over the coming months, we’re bringing together 14 health institutions, both public and private, with over 70 dedicated healthcare professionals. This dedicated team of doctors, nurses, medical technologists, pharmacists, and administrators will collaborate to map out the current landscape of cancer services, identify strengths, problems and areas for improvement, and co-create cancer care solutions for Concepción.
What sets this initiative apart is the incredible spirit of collaboration! We’re not just involving health institutions; we’re welcoming patients and civil society, ensuring that those suffering from cancer are integral to crafting contextualised solutions.
This is a transformative moment for Concepción! We’re demonstrating that our community can spearhead impactful change.
If you’d like to learn more or be part of this transformative effort, feel free to reach out.
Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient, and more equitable cancer care system for Concepción, with solutions that can scale and inspire others to do the same.”
