My Child Matters program helps give all children with cancer an equal chance to survive – Foundation S
Foundation S shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The My Child Matters program has supported 164 projects globally to date, helping to give all children with cancer an equal chance to survive.
Last weekend, the My Child Matters expert committee, a diverse group of high-level international experts, convened in Paris to review and select proposals for projects to support in 2025 and beyond.
This year, we are prioritizing projects that enhance access to care and early diagnosis, with a special focus on innovation.
In January we received over 74 applications.
After two rounds of review, 14 projects have been selected including:
- 7 projects in Africa
- 4 projects in Asia and Oceania
- 3 projects in Latin America
A huge thank you to everyone who submitted proposals and of course to our expert committee for their hard work and insightful decisions.
Together we can reach our goal of a minimum survival rate of 60% for all children with cancer by 2030 in support of the World Health Organization (WHO).”
