Registration is open for the 2025 Mother’s Day Classic – Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation
Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“See the impact of the 2024 Mother’s Day Classic!
Last year, thousands of Australians came together across the country for the Mother’s Day Classic, raising an incredible $3.3 million for breast and ovarian cancer research. Thanks to this overwhelming support, $1.2 million was donated to ovarian cancer research.
In 2025, we’re proud to introduce the two first-ever named projects supported by the Mother’s Day Classic Foundation, in association with the OCRF.
The promising ovarian cancer projects are led by Dr. Nicole Campbell from Hudson Institute of Medical Research, and Associate Prof. Kylie Gorringe of Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, as their teams aim to find better treatment solutions for two different ovarian cancer subtypes – high-grade serous and mucinous ovarian cancer.
But the work isn’t done. We’re planning to go even bigger and better, in the 2025 Mother’s Day Classic. That’s why we need you.
By registering for the Mother’s Day Classic, you’re doing more than just walking or running – you’re putting your foot down to stop breast and ovarian cancer in their tracks. Every step, every dollar, every participant makes a difference.
Register to walk or run at one of 85+ events across Australia on Mother’s Day, Sunday 11 May 2025, and save 29% with Early Bird pricing when you register before Sunday 13 April.”
