Monica Bertagnolli: It has been a privilege to serve as Director of NIH under President Joe Biden
Monica Bertagnolli, former Director of the National Institutes of Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It has been a tremendous privilege to serve as Director of The National Institutes of Health under President Joe Biden.
From the first day, when he said to me, ‘ok kiddo, you’re hired’ to today, when we express our profound gratitude to the President and First Lady as they depart from Joint Base Andrews, he has never wavered in his deep concern for the well-being of every person, from every walk of life.
President Biden’s deep humanity, warmth, and ability to convey optimism and a sense of urgency to ensure the health of our nation and the world will continue to guide all who have had the honor of serving under his leadership.”
