Miloš Grujić: A big moment for Serbian radiotherapy at ESTRO 25
Miloš Grujić, Co-Chair of Career Development Working Group at European School of Oncology, shared on LinkedIn:
“A big moment for Serbian radiotherapy at ESTRO 25!
I’m truly honored and proud of our Serbian team – this year, we presented five abstracts at the largest radiation oncology congress in Europe.
Just to highlight the progress:
- Last year, we had only one abstract from our group at the University Clinical Center Kragujevac (Univerzitetski klinički centar Kragujevac)
- Before that – not a single one accepted or even submitted.
This year:
- Two abstracts came from Kragujevac, prepared by our research group led by Ass. Prof. Neda Milosavljević and Ass. Prof. Marija Živković Radojević.
- One abstract was the result of my collaboration with Lara A. Caglayan from the University Clinic Bonn.
- And Dr. Mladen Marinkovic from Belgrade and his team contributed with two more strong submissions.
This is a huge step forward for Serbian radiation oncology and an encouraging sign of what lies ahead.
Let’s keep building, collaborating, and making our science visible. The future is bright when we work together.”
