Michelle Mitchell: Science, research and innovation has delivered huge achievements

Michelle Mitchell shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Science, research and innovation has delivered huge achievements. Thanks to advances in our understanding of cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, cancer survival has doubled in the past 50 years.

In 2024 we’re likely to have a General Election. This presents an opportunity for all political parties to commit to sustainable and long-term funding for research, to transform cancer outcomes and improve the lives of cancer patients now and in the future.”
