Michelle Mitchell, Chief Executive of Cancer Research UK (CRUK), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today Cancer Research UK (CRUK) published a report, ‘Nothing should stand in the way’, on how the UK and EU can work together to support global scientific research.
Cancer is the defining health issue of our time, and no single country can beat it alone. We hope that the UK-EU political summit next month will include a shared commitment to supporting scientific collaboration.
The report outlines key policy recommendations to help the UK and EU collaborate to maximise research impact and make the biggest possible difference for people with cancer.
