
Michael Sapienza: Advancing Urgently Needed Research Through Project Cure CRC
Michael Sapienza, Chief Executive Officer of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The Colorectal Cancer Alliance is proud to continue advancing urgently needed research through Project Cure CRC.
We recently awarded over $1.3 million in new funding to five investigators leading cutting-edge work in colorectal cancer science. Grant recipients include researchers at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute and La Trobe University, Indiana University School of Medicine, and The Johns Hopkins University.
With this latest round of grants, Project Cure CRC has invested $12.5 million in colorectal cancer research, supporting 29 studies to date. Each of these grants represents a deliberate and strategic effort to accelerate scientific progress where it’s most needed.
