“Researcher spotlight: Dr. Michael Green at MD Anderson Cancer Center
Michael Green, along with Christopher R. Flowers, is using advanced methodologies to study over 400 FL tumors and uncover how the cells surrounding tumors affect outcomes like relapse or transformation.
The goal? To identify biomarkers that can predict disease progression and lead to better treatment options for people with FL.
As part of our Biomarker Discovery in FL Program, we’re proud to support this work through the ASPIRE Awards in partnership with The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research.
The insights from this research could help shape more personalized therapies by identifying key indicators of prognosis and potential treatment targets.

Michael Green, Associate Professor and Vice Chair for Research, Department of Lymphoma and Myeloma at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared this post, adding:
“We are grateful to have the support of the Follicular Lymphoma Foundation and the Mark Foundation for this effort, and excited for what the future holds.“
