Ruben Mesa: This Year My Perspective on Melanoma and Skin Cancer Awareness Month is Much More Personal
Ruben Mesa, President and Executive Director of Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“May is Melanoma and Skin Cancer awareness month. This year my perspective on this month is much more personal, as I underwent Mohs Surgery for Skin Cancer this morning with our amazing team at Atrium Health Levine Cancer.
Our team, Briana Heneford, Shahab Babakoohi, Asim Amin and their teams truly bring the Loved One Standard to every patient they meet.
This month think on Skin Cancer and Melanoma prevention, early detection, and treatment by a great team.”
