Empowering the Next Generation Against Cancer – Medicaid Cancer Foundation
MEDICAID CANCER FOUNDATION shared a post on LinkedIn:
“800 Voices United by Unique – Empowering the Next Generation Against Cancer!
In commemoration of World Cancer Day, we took our advocacy to Regina Pacis Academy, reaching over 800 young girls with essential cancer education and empowerment. This initiative was more than just an outreach—it was a movement to equip the next generation with knowledge, confidence, and the power to protect themselves and their communities.
Through engaging sessions, we:
- Demystified breast and cervical cancer, emphasizing early detection and prevention.
- Taught self-breast exams, encouraging proactive health monitoring.
- Highlighted the importance of the HPV vaccine, a crucial defense against cervical cancer.
- Received an inspiring message from our CEO, HE Dr. Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu, via Zoom, reinforcing why vaccination is vital for safeguarding their futures.
The most inspiring moment?
These 800 girls pledged to be future advocates, committing to spreading awareness, encouraging vaccinations, and standing as changemakers in their schools, homes, and communities!
Together, we are United by Unique:
- 800 Girls empowered with knowledge
- 800 Futures secured through awareness
- 800 Hearts & Minds awakened to the cause
- 800 Dreams inspired to make a difference
- 800 Youth, Leaders, Ambassadors & Allies standing strong
- 800 Families impacted by the ripple effect of education
At Medicaid Cancer Foundation, we believe that knowledge saves lives. By investing in young voices, we are building a cancer-free future, one empowered girl at a time!
Join us in this mission!
Every action counts. Together, we can create a world where cancer is no longer a threat.”
