“Honored to have received the 2024 Young Researchers Award of the Fondazione IRCCS National Cancer Institute in Milan, for clinical research, an important recognition and stimulus to continue to make my contribution to research in the Institute.
I thank the Evaluation Committee, the Scientific Direction, my directors and mentors and in particular Filippo Pietrantonio who allowed me from the first days of my training to devote myself to research in gastrointestinal oncology.”
