Margaret Foti: One of the Most Productive Investments of Federal Funding
Margaret Foti, CEO at American Association for Cancer Research, shared AACR’s post on X:
“Biomedical research is one of the most productive investments of federal funding, producing long-term economic benefits while improving public health. Please contact your representatives and ask them to reject the President’s FY26 budget and FundNIH.”
Quoting AACR’s post:
“According to a recent United for Medical Research report, every $1 of NIH research funding generates $2.56 in economic activity. Ask Congress to reject the President’s proposed NIH cuts and support the nation’s physical and economic health.”
