“Celebrating US Congress News the 2024 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Cancer Disparities Progress Report with AACR Global Affairs: Dr. Margaret Foti, CEO of AACR, Dr. Sanya Springfield from the National Institutes of Health, and Robert A. Winn from VCU Progress have been made on preventing and treating cancer, but much more is needed to promote environmental and structural changes that will provide accessibility to best methods for prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer.
Access to clinical trials for diverse populations including ethnic/racial minorities, rural communities, elderly, migrants is needed to develop therapies that will be effective for all.”
