Hadieh Eslampanah: Challenges We Now Face at MAHAK Go Beyond Safety and Uncertainty
Hadieh Eslampanah, Director of International Development and Communications Department at MAHAK Pediatric Cancer Treatment and Research Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“At this moment and under challenging and upsetting war situation for everyone in Iran; I have to share challenges we now face at MAHAK go beyond safety and uncertainty; for us, it is about ensuring that we do not let go of the hands of the children and families who rely on our care and support , especially when they need us most, as they are among the most vulnerable in these distressing times.
No child, indeed, no human being, should have to suffer the atrocities of war, let alone our young patients who are already battling cancer.
Our commitment is to hold on to these children, to continue delivering the vital support and qualified health services they need, and to make sure they are not left behind and suffers further due to circumstances beyond their control, in these most pressing times.
We deeply appreciate the commitment of our health care professionals, all teammates and colleagues as well as volunteers and our international partners; who are standing with the most vulnerable.
If you are able to share any advice, practical approaches, or connections that could help us maintain and strengthen our support for MAHAK’s children at this critical moment, would be deeply grateful and means a lot to us.
We are strongly hopeful to move on these difficult days and please join us to keep smile to face of our children!”
