Today marks the end of Lung Cancer Awareness Month – Lung Cancer Europe
Lung Cancer Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today marks the end of Lung Cancer Awareness Month. And we’d like to thank you for your support and for sharing our posts and our messages.
It is so important that we make people aware of the symptoms of lung cancer. It remains the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. One reason for this is because cases are only diagnosed at a late stage.
Lung cancer is most effectively treated when it is found at an early stage. It also means there are more treatment options and better survival rates.
Better public awareness of lung cancer symptoms contributes to early diagnoses.
Please also look out for our ongoing Get Checked social media campaign.
And please read and share the 9th LuCE Report entitled Empowering voices, knowledge and decision-making among people impacted by lung cancer in Europe.”
