Lisa A. Lacasse: Medicaid is a lifeline for millions
Lisa A. Lacasse, President of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), shared a post by American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) adding:
“Medicaid is a lifeline for millions, and we urge Congress to ensure those eligible continue to have access without barriers. Cancer patients, survivors and their families counting on Medicaid can’t afford the impact of any cuts. Medicaid protects individuals and families from devastating medical debt, helps keep rural hospitals’ doors open, creates jobs in our communities, and helps our nation become healthier. Please share this important message.”
Quoting American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN)’s post below:
“80 million people in the United States count on Medicaid for critical, lifesaving health care, including cancer screenings and treatment.
Any cuts to Medicaid have real, drastic consequences that could jeopardize this essential care for millions of cancer patients.
Help us spread the word about the importance of Medicaid in the fight against cancer.”
