Leo Mascarenhas: Federal funding has been critical in the war against cancer
Leo Mascarenhas, Director of the Sarcoma Program and Division Chief and Director at Cedars-Sinai, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Federal funding has been critical in the war against cancer and at the cost of $326 per life-year saved! There is no wastage here but great implications for the health of society which we know today.
As an academic pediatric oncologist in the field for the last 30 years, I have seen first-hand the difference we have made in the lives of our patients and their families!”
