Karen Knudsen: Touring the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream
Karen Knudsen, Executive Strategic Advisor and Immediate Past CEO of the American Cancer Society (ACS), shared a post on LinkedIn:
This week, I had the privilege of touring the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream— an inspiring space dedicated to ensuring that opportunity, innovation, and education are accessible to everyone. I was reminded of how critical it is to empower individuals and communities to reach their full potential, which aligns deeply with my own commitment to advancing equity and impact in healthcare and beyond.
A highlight of my visit was spending quality time with my friend and visionary leader, Mike Milken. Mike’s boundless passion for creating a better future continues to inspire me. Whether it’s through his work in education, medical research, or economic empowerment, his dedication to making a difference is truly unparalleled. We talked about shared goals, bold ideas, and the ongoing work required to address some of the most pressing challenges of our time. I left feeling energized and even more motivated to contribute to solutions that drive meaningful change.
Thank you, Mike, and the Milken Institute team, for your incredible work and for hosting me—it was an unforgettable experience!
