Join the Jump4June Challenge to Raise Awareness for Uterine Cancer – IGCS

IGCS shared a post on X:

Mary Eiken, CEO of IGCS, and Dr. Brian Slomovitz — Director of Gynecologic Oncology at Mount Sinai Medical Center — are jumping for two big wins: their favorite hockey team, the Florida Panthers’ recent Stanley Cup victory AND clinical advances in the fight against uterine/womb cancer!

Mary Eiken and Brian Slomovitz wearing their Panthers jerseys, they took on the Jump4June Challenge to spotlight Uterine Cancer Awareness Month — and we want YOU to join in.

Dr. Slomovitz is the co-chair of the IGCS Uterine Cancer Awareness Month Campaign.

He has dedicated his career to advancing the field of GynCancer and providing compassionate patient care. He is a national and global principal investigator on numerous clinical trials related to endometrial cancer, including trials investigating immunotherapy and chemotherapy combinations.

Clinical Research like his is happening worldwide – this is very exciting news for women and any person who may one day be affected by womb cancer. This research advances personalize care based on molecular subtypes and shapes new approaches to treatment sequencing— such as bringing immunotherapy earlier.

That leads to improved outcomes, greater quality-of-life, and hope. Shout out to all the patients participating in clinical trials!

But we also want early detection… public awareness is still too low. Too many people have never even heard of uterine cancer. That’s where you come in.

JOIN THE JUMP4JUNE CHALLENGE:

  1.  Post a photo or video of your jump
  2.  Use Jump4June hashtag and tag IGCS
  3.  Share why raising awareness about uterine cancer matters to YOU

Let’s rally behind survivors, patients, and researchers — and score a win for women’s health!
