Jason Westin: The NIH will slash indirect costs on grants
Jason Westin, Professor, Director of Lymphoma Clinical Research and Section Chief of Aggressive Lymphoma at MD Anderson Cancer Centre, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The NIH released a new guidance today that will slash indirect costs on grants, which are essential funds to keep research going. This will slow the search for new ways to fight cancer, and will cause deep cuts in research efforts. Other nations will take advantage of this terrible decision if American research falters.“
