Isabel Mestres Announces Candidacy for NCD Alliance Board of Directors 2025–2027
Isabel Mestres, CEO of City Cancer Challenge (C/Can), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Six years ago, we launched City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) with a bold mission: to transform cancer care from the ground up in cities across the world. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside cities, local leaders, partners, governments, and communities to co-create and drive transformational change, specifically in cancer care in low-resource settings.
This work has taught me that real impact doesn’t come from top-down mandates, but from listening to local needs and delivering together. Now, I’m ready to take the next step: to support the broader NCD community by serving on the NCD Alliance Board of Directors for 2025–2027.
I would be honoured to bring my experience, commitment to systems thinking, and passion for strengthening health care ecosystems to the NCD Alliance at this critical time.
You can learn more about my profile and vision for the Board here.
If you are an NCD Alliance full member, I would be truly grateful for your support. Please consider voting for me and together, let’s drive meaningful, sustainable change for NCDs globally.”
