Isabel Mestres: How City Cancer Challenge can help improve access to cancer care for Indian communities?
Isabel Mestres, CEO at City Cancer Challenge Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m heading back to India.
It’s been 20 years since I backpacked through India, reviewing my old photos brings back memories of incredible adventures, amazing people, stunning architecture, and the dreams I had back then. Tomorrow, I return with a renewed purpose: exploring how City Cancer Challenge can help improve access to cancer care for Indian communities.
India is not only advancing in cancer care and digital health, but it’s also boldly tackling its greatest challenges with innovative solutions that we want to learn from and support.
I’m thrilled to reconnect with inspiring partners at Tata Memorial Cancer Centre, National Cancer Grid India, Institute of Palliative Medicine, Butterfly Cancer Care Foundation and Siemens Healthineers and to meet new allies from CSOs, government institutions, and the private sector.
I’ll keep you updated on my trip, the insights I gain, and the opportunities we uncover as we join forces with our Indian partners to bring hope and breakthrough care to communities everywhere.”
