Tsetsegsaikhan Batmunkh Leads HPV Vaccine Training to Combat Hesitancy in Mongolia
Tsetsegsaikhan Batmunkh, CEO of the National Cancer Council of Mongolia, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“During a period of heightened public hesitancy around the HPV vaccine in Mongolia, it is critical to strengthen the knowledge and confidence of obstetricians and gynecologists, key influencers in women’s health. In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and UNFPA, we organized a comprehensive two day training for health professionals in Ulaanbaatar.
The training focused on the latest evidence on HPV vaccine efficacy and safety, effective communication strategies to address vaccine hesitancy, and the role of cervical cancer screening within a broader cancer prevention framework.
This initiative once again underscored the urgency of empowering health professionals to serve as informed, trusted advocates for HPV vaccination within communities. By building capacity, we aim to foster more open, confident dialogues with parents and help restore public trust in the vaccine.”
Tsetsegsaikhan Batmunkh highlighted a two-day training program in Ulaanbaatar aimed at equipping health professionals with the tools to combat HPV vaccine hesitancy and support cervical cancer prevention in Mongolia.
