Don S. Dizon Was Honored with Jane F. Desforges Chair in Hematology and Oncology by Tufts University School of Medicine
Don S. Dizon, Director of Women’s Cancers at Lifespan Cancer Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I think every academic doctor has a wish to be acknowledged with an endowed chair. we hope our efforts forward our field while training a new generation to discover the passion of research and teaching, as we all were once so inspired.
Thank you Tufts University School of Medicine for the honor of the Jane F Desforges Chair in Hematology and Oncology. Learning about her through colleagues who studied under and worked beside her is humbling.
I can only hope to fulfill her legacy as I start my time here․”
