“As part of the ongoing Elekta Leadership in Precision Radiotherapy with Magnetic Resonance Imaging guidance, the French team at Elekta organized a prestigious symposium at the iconic Roland Garros Center.
The event brought together some of the leading experts in radiotherapy from across Europe, making it a highly valuable gathering for the field. The symposium featured a series of insightful lectures covering a wide range of clinical topics.
Presentations included clinical work on rectal cancer from the University of Tübingen, ultra-hypofractionation strategies from the Royal Marsden, and impressive results from the comprehensive motion management features at the Eugène Marquis Center in Rennes, France.
The workflow at Jules Bordet in Belgium was also highlighted, along with the diverse range of cases treated at Anadolu Centers in Istanbul, utilizing gating and comprehensive motion management techniques. Additionally, the first results and strategic approach of the Curie Institute in deploying Elekta’s new MR Linac Unity were shared.
A big thank you to all the speakers and scientists who presented their clinical results and upcoming projects. Their contributions demonstrate that the MR Linac is truly a game-changer in adaptive online radiotherapy, offering an unparalleled multi-contrast workflow.
