The training, resources, and networks essential for global health leaders to develop and oversee effective, impactful, and equitable healthcare programs.
The Global Health Delivery Intensive (GHDI) is a non-degree program at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH) that takes place virtually each July. Participants take three courses, which are also part of the Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery (MMSc-GHD) degree program offered by Harvard Medical School. The 2025 edition of the program will be conducted remotely.
Program Structure and Learning Goals
Participants are trained to design and manage programs that enhance healthcare delivery and outcomes. The program seeks to formalize the study of healthcare delivery and foster collaboration among educators, researchers, stakeholders, and practitioners, while also strengthening skills and capacity. Graduates will join a group of health professionals equipped to provide value-based healthcare in their respective environments.
Target Audience
The GHDI program is designed for mid-career health professionals looking to gain expertise in healthcare delivery concepts and skills. Applicants should have a proven dedication to health and experience in health organizations, with a strong background in healthcare or a related field. Practitioners, policy leaders, and administrators are ideal candidates. International applicants are encouraged to apply, while current undergraduate students are not eligible to participate.
