Giuseppe Curigliano and Barbara Jereczek-Fossa have been elected to lead ESMO and ESTRO – IEO European Institute of Oncology

“The multidisciplinary approach, based on the collaboration between oncologists and radio-oncologists, is confirmed as the key to successfully addressing the challenges of contemporary oncology.
Our Profs. Giuseppe Curigliano – Deputy Scientific Director and Director of the Development of New Drugs for Innovative Therapies Division – and Barbara Jereczek-Fossa, – Director of Radiotherapy, respectively elected to lead the first two oncology societies in Europe: the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), tell us about it on Corriere della Sera.
