Giselle Sholler welcomes her first PhD student in pediatric oncology
Giselle Sholler, Division Chief, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT at Penn State Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“My first PhD student!! So happy to welcome to Tarlan Arjmandi to our BCC Research Lab. After 20 years I have truly enjoyed training undergraduate students and post docs but I have felt that a PhD student requires more dedication to their training and for me taking this on was a big decision. I knew after meeting Tarlan that her drive, intelligence, and commitment to childhood cancer made her a perfect addition to our team. I am looking forward to being a part of her promising career.”
