Giselle Sholler: My favorite people who are so committed to fighting childhood cancer
Giselle Sholler, Division Chief, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT at Penn State Health, shared Beat Childhood Cancer Foundation’s post on LinkedIn:
“Such a great meeting with some of my favorite people who are so committed to fighting childhood cancer!”
Quoting Beat Childhood Cancer Foundation’s post:
“This week’s Take Action Tuesday theme? Do Something.
Earlier this month, the Beat Childhood Cancer Research Consortium’s Annual Meeting in St. Petersburg, FL, brought together global leaders in pediatric oncology. The takeaway from this 3-day gathering was captured in just two words from Dr. Jaume Mora, a renowned pediatric oncologist: do something.
Dr. Mora’s words were inspired by a child with rhabdomyosarcoma – fueling his lab to develop a new therapeutic target when all other options were gone. This same relentless drive has guided the BeatCC Research Consortium since its inception by Dr. Giselle Sholler in 2009.
Ready to do something? Explore our latest blog from Executive Director Sarah Bartosz and discover how you can take action today.”
