Cancer Institute NSW shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We are delighted to welcome Professor Georgina Long to the NSW Cancer Summit 2025.
As Medical Director of Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA), and Chair of Melanoma Medical Oncology and Translational Research at MIA and Royal North Shore Hospital, University of Sydney, Professor Long explains that collaboration across the cancer spectrum is crucial to ensure progress reaches its full potential.
‘Cancer doesn’t exist in silos—neither should our solutions. When researchers, clinicians, policymakers and patients collaborate, we accelerate discovery and ensure innovations actually reach the people who need them most.’
Catch Professor Long presenting and co-chairing in the breakthroughs in oncology stream at the Summit. Her focus will be on how research into drug therapy resistance guides breakthrough approaches.
Explore all the streams and the full list of incredible preeminent local, national and international speakers coming to the Summit on August 13-14 at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney)
See you soon at NSW Cancer Summit 2025.”
