“Alcohol-related liver cancer (ALD-HCC) remains a major challenge, with only 15–20% of patients surviving five years post-diagnosis.
The GENIAL Project aims to transform this outlook by exploring how genes and the environment interact to drive cancer progression. Through cutting-edge research, AI integration, and molecular analysis, we’re working to uncover new prevention targets and improve early detection.
Backed by the EU Horizon Europe programme, GENIAL is paving the way for more effective, personalized care.
