At ASCO25, I was truly inspired by the work of Dr. Paulo Bergerot, Dr. Cristiane Bergerot, and their dedicated team, who explored disparities in exercise referral practices between public and private oncology centers across Latin America.
This eye-opening study reminds us that exercise is not an optional extra—it’s a cornerstone of supportive care. And yet, systemic gaps still limit access for many. Grateful to witness such impactful research that blends equity, empathy, and evidence.”
