Françoise Meunier: New milestone for the Right to Be Forgotten
Françoise Meunier, Founder of the European Initiative on Ending Discrimination Against Cancer Survivors, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“New milestone for the Right to Be Forgotten
Ireland is set to enshrine the Right to Be Forgotten in law by Autumn 2025.
Cancer survivors in Ireland will no longer have to disclose their cancer when trying to access a mortgage, and a 5-year timeline is being discussed. Thank you to all those who pushed for this to happen and will allow cancer survivors fairer access to mortgage protection.
